This session is geared towards ACLEA members who develop training content and often find themselves navigating the challenging waters of compliance and accreditation. Our panel of experts will discuss how to work with presenters to increase the likelihood of CLE accreditation. You will learn presenter coaching strategies for developing high-quality written materials, and methods for effectively translating CLE rules to presenters in ways they can actually act on. This session will be of interest for participants who would like to learn more about Instructional Design best practices. It will be suitable for anyone who designs and develops courses including writers, subject matter experts and instructors. We will explore the most widely adopted approaches to instructional design. The session will include examples of course design and educational technology that can be applied in a variety of contexts. We will discuss design approaches, working with SMEs, development practices (including rapid prototyping and storyboarding), piloting and analysis. Resources and templates will be shared so participants put them to use in their own practice.
