Description

Learning is one of the greatest opportunities attorneys have, and participating in CLE is an obligation that can also be a little anxiety-inducing at times. For neurodivergent lawyers, it isn't as easy as "just signing up" for any CLE in hopes of getting those coveted credits if the learning environment and content are presented in an inaccessible way. There are so many things to consider whether a program is accessible and not only informative or educational - how do we make sure anyone who wishes to participate and learn is able to do so? Every detail counts, from the visuals we use to how we speak and what materials we provide. In this keynote, Haley will address universal design for learning, accessibility, and ensuring CLE isn't just more accessible for neurodivergent lawyers - but all lawyers.
